Naturalist Note: October 14, 2014

Calling all nature lovers, educators, scouts, treehuggers, birdwatchers, leaf watchers, all who love this time of year: welcome to fall colors at Natural Bridge ! We sincerely hope that y’all will start checking out our naturalist-notes blog and will be interactive with us. We welcome your input here and on social media.

If you are an educator : we want to come to your faculty meeting (really, we do) to update you as to the exciting new SOL correlated programs being offered at the Bridge. If you can’t get to us, we may be able to come to your classroom. Geology, Water, Virginia History: it’s all integral to the Natural Bridge story and wow: those are all SOL topics! We can now accommodate any age group and are looking to expand our educational offerings into middle, secondary and college classrooms.

If you have visited the Natural Bridge site in the past, come take a second look. We have a whole new mojo. Meanwhile, sure hope you enjoyed the lunar eclipse last week. This week looks promising for peak fall colors. Also, note the marvelous mast crop this autumn. Please contact us on the link, and catch you next week for more nature notes.
