Monacan Indian Exhibit 15 Year Celebration

The Monacan Indian Exhibit celebrates 15 years of excellence in historical interpretive programming by opening a new exhibit area.

On November 1, 1999, the Monacan Indian Living History program began at Virginia’s Natural Bridge. Through the years many guests have learned about the history of the Monacan Indians by visiting the exhibit. School children from all over Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia, and beyond have participated in instructional tours which support and supplement their classroom learning activities. This year, in recognition of our 15 years as part of the Natural Bridge experience, we are opening our new wigwam to visitors on Saturday, November 1st. We invite you to celebrate Native American Heritage month with us casino online: visit, step back in time, and learn how the Monacan people lived in their natural world. The Monacan Exhibit opens at 10:00 AM daily. We look forward to seeing you. Thank you for your support over the years.
